Sheena Helen Lassen

Sheena Helen Lassen

Born in 1955 and educated in Christchurch Sheena lived in Palmerston North for ten years, then near Culverden in North Canterbury for twenty three years.

Sheena moved to Roxburgh, Central Otago in 2014.

Sheena is best known for representational landscape paintings in oils, with a particular passion for the rugged landscapes of the South Island high country.

Sheena has been exhibiting work since 1981 and has held several solo shows and contributed to many group exhibitions throughout New Zealand.

Commissions welcome.

Sheena had the benefit and privilege of being taught Art at Heaton Intermediate by William F. Moore and at Mairehau High School Sheena was then taught Art by Derek Mitchell. What a fabulous grounding!
